The aromatic molecules are absorbed into the bloodstream to stimulate the brain parts and relax the sympathetic/para-sympathetic system. In this way, essential oils help the body overcome emotional trauma while sharpening the concentration.

  1. Eucalyptus Oil:

Eucalyptus oil can be really handy to help you when you’re trapped in the overwhelming range of emotions. This is because eucalyptus oil has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, decongestant, deodorant, antiseptic, antibacterial, stimulating, and other medicinal qualities—making you to release the “burden.”

Add 2-3 drops of eucalyptus oil to the bowl of hot water. Keep this bowl on the table. Now, place your head over the bowel and inhale the aroma for 5-8 minutes. Set yourself free and let the pain and sadness come out. Later you can release yourself by crying. You can use it in a diffuser.

  1. Frankincense Oil:

When you go through the intense emotion, we unintentionally seek “comfort zones”, making you tense and shallow breathing as well. It is resulted as the storage of the emotions in your body which should be released for healing. You can use Frankincense oil to promote the breathing. The uses of this herb for healing purposes date back to the ancient times.

Mix 6 drops of Frankincense oil with 2 tbsp. of coconut oil. Massage your heart and chest area with this mixture. Take the deep breathe for better healing.

  1. Lavender Oil

Lavender oil is one of the key oils to alleviate your mood, making you feel relaxed. The calming properties of lavender release the emotional stress by soothing the nerves and tension. It is equally effective in treating headaches and migraines. The aromatherapy with lavender oil has been proven effective to minimize the anxiety and depression.

Add 6-8 drops of the lavender oil to bowl of warm water. Inhale the aroma and feel relaxed. 

  1. Roman Chamomile

The apple like scent in Roman chamomile oil is effective for the stress releasing, thereby fading away our anxiety and feeling of being rejected. 

Well, there are many ways you can use Roman Chamomile to soothe yourself. You can inhale the chamomile vapors for anxiety and general depression, which are common in this situation.

You can add 8-10 drops of roman chamomile to your bath tub. Alternatively, you can drink Chamomile tea to get relief.

  1. Immortelle or Helichrysum

Generally, blame game is on after the breakup—either you’re at receiving end or your partner. Because you deny love and are not willing to set yourself free. In this stage, you can use Immortelle which will calm down you.

You can use immortelle in massaging which will do lots of stretching. In this way, you feel free from all the burdens.
