Triangle [Photo]
I find the triangle piercing to be the most unique and intriguingly scientific of all. Unfortunately, this again is one that very few women are anatomically suited for. The triangle piercing is designed so that the jewelry is actually inserted just below the clitoral hood behind the clitoris itself. This way, when the front of the clitoris is being stimulated, the back is being stimulated as well.
In order for the piercing to be done properly, you must have enough skin to actually pull the clitoris and surrounding area away from your body to have enough room for the jewelry to be inserted underneath. Not many women fit this criteria, but for those fortunate few, this is really an amazing piercing.
It is also a piercing that requires great skill and confidence. Please be sure to see a very experienced piercist first to determine if you are even suited for this piercing, and be sure your piercist has experience in this particular procedure.
Recommended jewelry for triangle piercing is 12 to 10 gauge circular barbell or captive bead ring. (Understand gauge sizes with this Interactive Gauge Comparison Chart)
Estimated healing time: 8-12 weeks.
