Cold pack is one of the easiest ways to relax muscle pain at home. Turmeric is effective herb to minimize the muscle pain, thanks to the presence of curcumin and ibuprofen. Mix 1 tbsp. of turmeric powder to a cup of heat milk and take it twice in a day.
Alternatively, you can prepare the paste by taking 1 tbsp. each of turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt. Apply the paste to the affected parts. Leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory agent and boosts blood flow, thereby relieving muscle pain. According to one study, daily consumption of raw ginger and heated ginger can ease muscle pain.
Wrap four tbsps. of freshly grated ginger in a tightly sealed cotton cloth or bag. Dip it in hot water for nearly one minute. Let it cool and then place it on the affected area for nearly 15 minutes. Repeat the process several times a day. Or you can take three cups of ginger tea daily.
