5 Effective Home Remedies for Dermatitis
Dermatitis is the skin conditions determined by inflammation, itching, and crusting patches. It is also known as atopic eczema. There are many factors which can cause dermatitis, such as allergic reactions, irritants, excessive toxins and several environmental conditions. On the other hand, a person having thin or dry skin is also exposed to the risk of dermatitis. There are many types of dermatitis like contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, neuro-dermatitis, statis dermatitis, and perioral dermatitis.

Well, there are many OTC creams to treat dermatitis. Alternatively, it can be treated with some home remedies which are given below.
Jojoba: Jojoba is the proven remedy to ease the inflammation and redness associated with dermatitis. Since its molecular structure is similar to the natural oil produced by the body, it is absorbed easily and doesn’t feel greasy. And it is very simple to use! Just apply jojoba oil to the affected area and gently massage till it is absorbed completely. Repeat the process three times a day.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is an effective home remedy for various skin conditions. It is rich in antibacterial and antiseptic properties to kills the bacteria and germs. ACV effectively treats your dermatitis.
Mix 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar and water. Now, use a cotton ball to apply the solution on the affected skin. Let it rest on the skin for nearly 30 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this process daily to see improvement.
You can consume 2 tbsp. of ACV mixed in a glass of water for 2-3 times a day.
Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera is the super home remedy for various skin conditions as it is rich in antioxidants, minerals, enzymes, fatty acids, and hormones. It kills the bacteria and moisturizes the dried skin, which is one of the reasons for dermatitis. It hydrates the skin; reduces infections and eases the itches.

You can directly use Aloe Vera gel on the affected parts till you get rid of dermatitis.
Take Oatmeal Bath: A traditional oatmeal bath can work for you in the painful conditions dermatitis. It moisturizes and heals your skin as it is rich in anti-inflammatory properties, bringing relief in dermatitis.
Add 1 cup of plain oatmeal powder to your bathtub. Stir it well till the bath water becomes milky. Soak yourself in this oatmeal water for nearly 15-20 minutes. Do this daily and you will see an improvement.
Honey: Honey has amazing benefits when it comes to cure dermatitis. It moisturizes the skin and lowers the skin inflammation during dermatitis.
Take 1 tbsp. of raw honey, olive oil and beeswax. Heat the mixture to prepare an ointment. Let it cool down and apply to your skin. Repeat the process daily till the condition is completely cured.
Manuka honey is especially recommended for this type of skin condition. You can apply it over the affected part of area twice in a day.
